The following list is not inclusive. We are always open to new ideas.
- Participate in activities with children in the safe house.
Activities may include: crafts, coloring, playing games and childcare
for the little ones! Moms will be participating in a group, in the safe
house, during this time.
- Participate in our Reading Program at our safe house, with children
ages 2 & up. Childcare is also needed during this time.
- Help out in our resale store, "A Second Season". Responsibilities
include sorting, folding, hanging and steaming clothes, as well as
assisting customers.
- You can also help the clients we serve by responding to the 24-hour
crisis hotline. This involves responding to domestic violence and sexual
assault crisis calls and providing emergency services. Help with the
crisis line is needed Monday – Thursday evenings, in shifts of 5:00pm –
8:30am. Approximately 30 hours of training is required.
- Providing court accompainment and support to clients obtaining
exparte orders and protection orders, as well as criminal action.

required.
